Q: Where is Skyline Indie Film Fest going to be held?
A: We have venues throughout Old Town Winchester, VA.
Q: Is Skyline Indie Film Fest a competitive film festival?
A: Yes. We will be awarding winners of the festival and providing modest prizes. We hope as we grow to be able to provide monetary prizes that will enable festival winners to continue their journey and hopefully contribute in some small way to making their dreams come true.
Q: When is the Call for Entries?
A: November 1, 2017 – May 31, 2018. Please visit Film Freeway for deadlines and submission fees.
Q: Is it free to submit to Skyline Indie Film Fest?
A: Sadly, no. There is a fee to submit for our festival. This money is used to subsidize the generosity of our sponsors by offsetting costs of marketing, postage, bookings, travel, web hosting, and more. Everyone working this festival is doing so for the love of cinema and is not paid by the Festival.
Q: Is Skyline Indie Film Fest a 501(c)3 organization.
Q: Who can submit to this festival?
A: Anyone and everyone! Professional, amateur, and student filmmakers in all genres.
Q: Is this a Short/Doc/Feature/Animated/Horror/Experimental Film Festival?
Q: Does the festival screening pass give me head of the line privileges?
A: No. A screening pass only guarantees a seat if you show up 15 minutes prior to showtime. After that regular ticket holders will be seated, then the rush line will be allowed in.
